Bringing Brand Consistency to Finance Orgs with AI
Macabacus is a productivity tool for finance and banking.
I designed an AI-driven tool that captures a company's tone of voice from text files and applies it to PowerPoint slides.
This reduced time spent on writing and reviews, improved brand consistency across slide decks, and helped investment bankers produce client-ready presentations.

How might we enable finance teams keep slide decks on-brand without endless manual reviews?
/ my role
I led PRD writing, created user flows, UI design, responsive layouts, and designed micro-interactions for two user personas: investment banker and their manager.
I proactively collaborated with engineering team ensuring technical feasibility of the designs and smooth handoff process with detailed user flows and specs.

To kick off the project I led the PRD writing to build alignment across Product and Engineering
When we began working on this tool, the team had very little alignment on scope and requirements. I took the initiative to create a Product Requirements Document, despite the pushback from the team. After sharing the first draft with the team, the response was very positive—the Head of Product, Engineering Manager, and others began adding comments and contributing. The document helped bring everyone together, increased engagement inside the team, and created clear alignment moving forward.

The entire flow includes two users: investment bankers and their managers. Managers define Tone of Voice and prompts, while investment bankers apply them to PowerPoint slide deck.
Step 1: Setting Tone of Voice
Managers establish a shared Tone of Voice using AI by providing approved writing samples, ensuring their teams produce presentations that reflect company standards without ongoing manual oversight.
Step 2: setting up prompts
Managers define a set of prompts, such as summarizing, translating, or proofreading —so investment bankers can refine slides consistently without crafting prompts themselves.
Step 3: Fine-tuning prompt list
Managers update prompts centrally in the manager dashboard, allowing teams to benefit from centralized improvements while maintaining a stable workflow.
Step 4: Applying tone of voice to the slide text
Investment bankers work under tight deadlines, often reusing and editing slides late in the process.

I involve engineers early by collaborating on PRD writing, co-ideating when exploring solutions, and reviewing designs together to assess feasibility. Also, we have ongoing communication directly in Figma share questions, ideas, and align with each other.
